Benedetta Cambiagio Frassinello Langasco (Ge) 02/10/1791- Ronco Scrivia (Ge) 21/03/1858 is a zealous figure of love for God and neighbour, to do God’s will.

She thought it was not enough to give food to the hunger, the oppress, the poor and orphan girls, she wanted to solve a problem, helping poor and orphan girls and all the girls without moral sense, giving them an education.

She accepted to marry a young man, Giovanni Battista Frassinello of Ronco Scrivia, in order to please her parents. After two years, they chose, together, chastity, blessed by the Bishop, that praised their devotion to take care of poor girls, so they lived like brothers.
The Royal Austrian Government considered Benedetta as a Promoter of Education, and her Community received up to 180 girls.

Powerful men put Benedetta in a bad light. She left all her possessions to the Bishop of Pavia, Luigi Tosi and went to Ronco Scrivia. There she founded a religious Institute that praises, now, Mother’s Sanctity, following her example.

The Benedictine Nuns of the Holy Providence would like to do always more and always better, as they were taught by their Mother:“do everything only for God’s love”.

They inspire all young girls to enter their Congregation, to reveal God’s Presence, the Greatness of His calling and the beauty of a life turned to God. The Benedictine Nuns of the Holy Providence are In Italy, Spain, Africa, Peru, Brazil.
